Michael was inspired to enter the automotive industry way back in high school when he took a class in automotive mechanics. He went on to study at UTI and then at BMW School. He later worked at the local BMW dealership in Portland, where he stayed for eight years.
Michael began selling tools in 2007. Michael is absolutely committed to using only the best quality tools. The market crash ensued, and he found himself seeing about 100 shops a week. Some of these shops called Michael in to repair cars that their mechanics could not.
He soon began to do automotive mechanics out of his garage at his house. It was in 2012 that he opened Accurate Motorwerks.
When Michael isn’t working on cars, you can find him traveling and spending time with his family. His son, Austin, is the service manager at Accurate Motorwerks, and also has been working in several different roles at the shop since 2016.
