My car would not idle. I brought it in and they found the idle control valve was broke. It had been replaced less than 2 years ago so they warranted it out and found another part to replace it but they don’t make these parts anymore since it’s a 2000 model and it was not an exact fit so now the car idled at 35mph (2,000)rpm which was way to high. They kept looking for a week calling shops and parts stores and found the last part in the area (went above and beyond the call of duty) and now my car is running great! These guys are super nice and helpful. They did some diagnostic work on my Passat. After getting bad news, I decided to sell it to a towing company instead of fixing it. They held onto the car for me for an extra day so I could make arrangements. Great experience and I would definitely go back to them.

Was quoted almost $1600 for a tune up which included just over 6 hours of labor. Dropped at 8:30. Work was done by 1 tech from about 1pm until 3:50pm when I called and they said it was done. Austin said it was still "mis-firing" and they would like to schedule a diagnostic at a future date (I gave them approval to do it that day if changing the plugs didn't fix it) They charged me the full quote, which I feel was twice the labor they spent on it..3 extra hours at $197/hr. And when I started the vehicle it purred like a kitten. So why was a diagnostic needed?? Anyway, I think they did good work, but I know they overcharged and more importantly I do not trust them.

Today, is 05/26/26. My car was serviced again last week. As always, my experience at Accurate Motorwerks, has always been pleasant, kind, respectful, thoughtfulness & professional. The team, is thorough & precise about whatever service that my car needs. And even with our economy changing so fast; ‘ACCURATE MOTORWERKS’ prices still surprisingly surpasses, any other BMW Shops, that I’ve researched. Even though; I live in OREGON, the mechanical work that Michael’s Team does on my BMW is worth the trip & the dollars. Accurate Motorwerks, keeps me on the road. And now, for 12 years. I’m just as happy & satisfied as the first day, of getting services for my BMW. And I still love & appreciate the performance of my car.
